CLOUDIAN is a three (as of May 2026) piece band from Busan, South Korea. They merge rock and metal music with traditional Korean sounds and have gained big popularity in Europe due to their outstanding performance. Their singer and guitarist Brighten convinces with his incredible voice and stage presence. O.M, the very much loved violinist and all-rounder of the band, supports as 2nd in line. Last but definitely not least, the drummer Logan, who makes everyone fall in love with him - and his arms.

Cloudian is very loved for their music and performance, but another key factor that might convince a lot of people to dive deeper into them, is their music universe. Brighten created that vast fantastic world and over the years Cloudian’s music videos and lyrics made his vision come to life.
On here we - the fanbase of the band - want to make an attempt to summarise what we know so far and help out fans who maybe missed some details.

As of 25th June 2026 this project IS HALTED. Cloudian will bring out their own website with explanation videos, so my work is redundant. If by December 2026 this said website has not been launched, I will come back here and update information.

Be aware that this is a fanproject and, apart from some obvious facts, it is based on our own interpretations. Further, this is intellectual property of Yoon Hyunbin (Brighten) and no infringement of such is intended. The website undergoes constant changes whenever new information comes up or we change our view on something. Please make sure to mention @cloudian_fanbase_europe if you quote anything from here.

Cloudian’s first album “The Unknown Tale”, that came out 2018, does not contain any direct connection to the universe, whereas I will include their title giving song “Cloudian” in my analysis and scratch the surface of possible connections in some songs like “New World” etc.
In 2019 their next EP “The Conqueror’s Heart” once again only contains a slight potential to be part of the universe. Note that all three songs were re-released on:
“Redefine”, their 2nd album. Similar to before the heavy songs fit the universe, but there is a lot of room for interpretations. You will see my take on that down below too!
Now, in 2022 things get more exciting! With their 2nd EP “LUCE” the universe is born for good, especially since the title song (also called “LUCE”) features their first music video. (Note that during the period of “The Unknown Tale” several music videos were produced, which are not available anymore.) We also have the often overlooked song “Panthera” on that EP, that introduces our hero’s furry companion.
After this, the band went through a lot of changes for yet another time and so it wasn’t until 2024 that they brought out a new EP called “You’ll See”. Both songs featured come with a music video, but similar to the first two albums only an interpretation-heavy connection to the universe can be found. In the same year the band released another EP called “Reckless one”, where we encounter the same situation as above.
Last but definitely not least, in 2025 Cloudian released “GARDENER”, the core of the universe. It features three music videos that make every fantasy fan’s heart beat faster and will of course be the main topic in the analysis below.
One should mention the most recent release, the single “Faded Night”. A beautiful piece that once again can be looked at in many ways and maybe you’ll find me also putting it into my interpretation.
